The Volkswagen Chengdu Engine Plant is affiliated with FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. is a large passenger car production enterprise jointly operated by China FAW Group Corporation, Volkswagen AG, Audi AG, and Volkswagen (China) Investment Co., Ltd. It is the first modern passenger car production enterprise in China to start construction based on economic scale. FAW-Volkswagen's production capacity layout has covered Changchun in the northeast, Chengdu in the southwest, Foshan in the south, Qingdao in the east, and Tianjin in the north. Starting from a single brand and product at the beginning of the plant construction, the company has now developed more than 30 products under three major brands - Audi, Volkswagen, and Jetta. FAW-Volkswagen has become a mature domestic production enterprise covering A, B, and C-level full range of passenger car models. With a cumulative production and sales of over 25 million vehicles, its sales volume ranks among the top tier in China's passenger car industry. XINGLI has designed and constructed a new warehouse distribution logistics line for the Volkswagen Chengdu Engine Plant.
